Deploying IPv6 in the enterprise requires technical knowledge and “a big plan”.  Tom will discuss how to build your plan, how to convince management to go along with it, and how Google successfully deployed IPv6 to their entire enterprise.  While Tom has no direct involvement in Google’s awesome IPv6 efforts, that hasn’t prevented him from speaking and writing on the topic, including his highly rated article in Queue magazine:


Tom Limoncelli is a LOPSA-NJ member and also happens to be an internationally recognized author, speaker, and system administrator.  His best known books include Time Management for System Administrators
(O’Reilly) and The Practice of System and Network Administration (Addison-Wesley). In 2005 he received the SAGE Outstanding Achievement Award. He works at Google in NYC on the Ganeti project ( is his blog.  In October he’ll be speaking at MacTech Conference 2012 and in December he’ll be at Usenix LISA
